Default non staggered wheels

hey i'm looking at these wheels i really want but the fronts and rears are 17X8.5 with 35 offsets... is this really bad for the car or will it rip through tires... thanks in advance

the problem is the offset.. 35 is too low. You might even rub at stock ride height.

It will affect the handling. I've seen people lose it with the wrong wheels and came back here confused.......

Major issue with running non-staggered wheels is your handling. It will dramatically affect your handling badly. Now if you don't plan on high-speed or canyon runs, you should be ok. No crazy on-ramp speeds or anything. Basically, just a commuting vehicle. With that said, the S is made to be a fun car. You do that, whats the point for owning this car then.

I actually know a few people that run this setup. From their words, there is not that much of a big difference but you can feel the tail wants to swing out more often. I mean, you can do it and really feel no difference based on how you drive, but you have been warned about the risks.

some people run reverse stagger (bigger wheels and tires up front).. so it all depends on the handling characteristics you're looking for.
