Default New wheels, will it work?

Hey, so I just pulled the trigger on some Volks and did some research to see if these will work for me.
But I just wanted to get some more feedback/inputs from those with experiences running this kind of setup.

Wheel specs:
17x8 +44 F
17x9 +63 R

1) Will this work on a bone stock suspension?
2) Will it rub in either the front or rear?
3) Will I need to do any fender work? Tab relocate?
4) If the car is lowered 1" or more, does any of the above questions become an issue?

Lastly, I will need new tires for them. Recommendations for street only tires, what are some good sizes to look at?
I wished I had more knowledge about this stuff but honestly I'm a little lost and would appreciate some guidance.

Thanks!

From: Illnoise. WAY downtown, jerky.

17x8 +48 is very agressive up front. Even with the stock suspension, I'd be careful climbing up/down driveways with the wheels at full lock.

Or...if you ever do a skid and get to full lock, you might get some contact. I would for sure roll/trim the liner tabs on the front fenders.

The 17x9+63 in back is fine.

You're gonna want to use 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 to square off on those wheels.

215/45 and 245/40 will also work, and provide more fender clearance...but will look stretched.

Everyone seems to love the Firehawk Indy500 for street use. And Costco has a steal going on them right now.

Falken Azenis RT616K+ is a great choice if you want an EP tire for some reason.
