Default New Wheels and Tyres

I am looking to run 18 x 8 Front's and 18 x 9.5 Rear's with
Yokohama AVS Sport - 225/40/18 Front tyres and 255/35/18 Rear tyres.

Is this possible? I am not too sure about the tyre sizes...
Am I likely to have any problems with these? Could there be some rubbing?
What offset would I need?
I assume lowering would be needed as well, I am pretty new to this, but think the stocks are just too small.

All help much appreciated, thanks

Sean

Those are the exact tire sizes that I'm running and I don't rub except at max speed going downhill into a right hand uphill hairpin, you get the idea...

Sean,

if you do change wheels and decide to sell your stock alloys please let me have first option!

Cheers!

what are your wheel sizes though, most 18's seem to be 18x9 rear's, is that tyre size fine for the 18 x 9.5's?

My car is on order, wont be here till feb, but will be putting on the new wheels as soon as I get it. So, yeah, will have a spare set of stock 2002 Alloys and Tyres that will have hardly any mileage on them. Will send you a PM when my car arrives to see if you are still interested.

WEB GOD,

Do you rub with the front or rear tires?

Ahh, good... so what offset did you use? would it be different depending on the rims?
and did you get your car lowered after chaging from the stock's?

My offsets are 49 and 55 and yes I believe it would be different depending on the rims you choose... I have not lowered my car at all, it is stock height.
