Default NEW Wheels and tires

JIM,

I am seriously in the market for a set of 17" SSR GT1's. I would like to speak with you about buying through tire rack.

One question you may be able to answer now is:

Will MY'04 OEM rubber fit on those rims?? IF so, is that the best pick for 17" rubber.

Anyone else have an opinion on 17" rubber? My BIGGEST priority is performance. Then a small priority placed on ride comfort and road noise.

Look forward to hearing from you.

If you're serious about performance, slap some Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires on your 16" rims and run circles around anyone on stock rubber, even those with the new 17" rims.

One caveat, this will not be safe to drive under any combination of cold or wet conditions.
