Default New wheels need help fitting the tires

hey guys just got some 18 inch xxr's 18x8 +35 front, 18x9 +40 rears my s2 has some slight fender rolling from the previous owner. I would like to stay staggered tire sizes since honda must have done that for performance reasons when they designed the car. Hoping to fit something like 215 40 18 and 245 40 18 is this unrealistic? Any help or input is greatly appreciated thanks guys.

You will need a full roll and tab relocation. Easy fitment is 215/40/18 front and 245/35/18 rear. More difficult but doable is a 255/35/18 rear.

discount tire has kuhmo's 215 35 r18 75$ each thats crazy cheap for 18's would it be a bad idea to try to run 215 all the way around? stretch those on my 18x9?

i would like to stay staggered but extra 150$ to by wider rears like 245... is it worth it?

YES, and 215/40 is the proper size to keep stock diameter in front.
