ok, not to be a party pooper, but the reason for this thread was to promote the wheel company Angstrom, not Introforged. If you would like to start an Introforged thread, please do so.

Let's keep the comments towards the Angstrom Wheels at the TOP of the page.

Thanks

djkojione, sorry

ok, does angstrom make a 16 or 17" wheel with the right width and offsets, say 17x7.5 50mm and 17x9 63mmm, with weights near Volk ce28n's, at a competitive price?

that's the benchmark, as far as I am concerned.

arnel, PM me with info on the iForged, please

[B]Hey all,

Here is the pic, enjoy. I like the one on the left.

I would be very interested in the one on the right. Very similar to the Mille Miglia's I just put on my Legend. Give us some more info or a web site please.
Thanks

I am in the market for wheels right now. Tell me how to get info on the Angstrom wheels.

I already have info on iforged. They said $1350 a set in any offset, width or finish. I haven't got the weights yet, but they look competitive.

Why does everyone also point back to that vwvortex ad about iforged. If you look at that thread on VWVortex you can see that people just jump on the bandwagon, when they order the wrong offset, and then complain and bitch all over the board. Check out all these happy customers on other boards, and they are all recent. iForged Performance Alloys is carried by some of the largest distributors in the country including American Tire Co., and Discount Tire. They just did the project car for Alpine as well.

Here is a pic of my car on iForged wheels. They gave me a 3" lip in the rear, the largest on an Audi so far.

i know i know its needs to be lowered

M3 on Dubs with 4" lip

M3 on 19" with a 4" lip

The iforged look real nice, and the price is nice, too. But they are pretty heavy for a forged wheel - 18-20lbs for 17". Also, I'm not sure what the fascination is with lip size. I don't see how lip size is anything but an aesthetic factor. It would have been nice to see iforged put more emphasis on light weight, instead of fat lips.

That said, I was told that they have 17" wheels in 8" and 10" widths, with 53mm and 73mm offsets, respectively. Anyone have any comments on the suitability of these sizes/offsets for the S?

djkojione -

sorry about going off-topic again, but it seems iforged is getting the buzz. Post the requested Angstrom specs (sizes, offsets, weights, prices) and you'll have my undivided interest.
