Default New tires for my 18's

Sizes are:
255/35R18
225/40R18

I've limited my choices down to these two tires. Let me know what you think.

I have zero input for the Goodyear's, but I love my Star Specs. I've run them on the street & track and they are very stable and predictable.

Those tires are really different kinds of tires. It would really come down to what you want out of the tires. If you want better all around performance the Goodyear would be better. If you are looking for a track tire for the street the Dunlop is superior.
If I can help let me know.

I was able to find that exact set of Eagles on Craigslist locally for $200, with only about 500 miles on them. They look brand new! Off topic, I know, but I had to tell somebody!

They look great, but I will know more once I get them mounted on some rims.

What wheels did you go with?

I dont know about those tires, but Jim is right. It really depends on how you drive and what you want. I love BFG's. They make me happy and keep me on the road.

I have nothing against BFG (probably be getting some R1's for track use this year), but unfortunately they do not make a tire that's comparable to the two being considered. The only thing they have that would be close in street tire performance would the the KD, which probably isn't going to be up to StarSpec standards (or likely F1 asymmetric either) in the dry, and certainly not in the wet (particularly vs. the Asymmetric).
