Ok thanks for the input. I don't want to make a bad choice buying rims n new tires n not get the look I want. I'm not even sure if my car is stock height or not . I haven't had it long enough to really check out the stance etc . I just know I need new tires so I figured I would get a rim I like also . As far as the specs being at the limit you mean the offset of 48 is about the lowest pos offset I should look at. Up in the 50s or even 60s would be better choice.

+55 to +63 is the sweet spot. Look for offsets in the mid 50s.

Why are you in a rush to buy wheels? Instead of buying some cheap knock off wheels that don't fit (even high quality wheels that are bad sizes are equally a bad choice) wait for a better set of wheels. If your true goal is to not roll the fenders you really need to be in the +50 or higher and there is very limited choices that fit that. You haven't really said if you have a budget in mind for these wheels either so it is hard to make recommendations of what to look for. Slow down and take some time to understand what works before throwing money away.

I am. I found a set of AP 2 wheels with good tires. Might just pick them up. Then I'm going to look at the suspension setup and go from there.
See if I need shocks etc and get some good midrange coil overs
Billsteins or maybe Fortune 500 ones . Then I can decide what wheels to go with . Problem is it's killing me layed up in the house hanging all this time to look at CL and the forums and the e bay stuff . I had to hane emergency appendectomy last Tuesday and I only had the car a couple days and only drove it once on a 150 mile ride with my wife before all this happened . I'm going to chill. Look for a drivers seat and some dress up goodies for under the hood until I can really see what condition everything is in . I really appreciate your response though and your right about not getting cheap wheels n buying new tires Thanks again tom. Also can you tell me how you can post pics on this forum I can't figure it out on my phone or I pad maybe you can only do it on the computer. Tom

OEM Ap2 wheels are a great upgrade for an AP1. As for how to post pictures the best way is to host them on a site like photobucket and then paste the img link they provide into your post.

Ok so there's no direct link to attach a pic on the website. I don't have a photbucket account etc. just used toppling then right off my phone. I'll look into that if like to post pics of the car. I'm pretty excited about the pick up and the great deal I got.

Ok got that part but how do you get the picture to actually show up and not the link ? Like in the introduction posts there are cars pictures in the post.
Is that in their signature or something

I know I said I would wait but I really like that rays wheel tire combo and its local guy who has lowered his price . If I went with AP2 Shock with lowering spring setup temporarily would that setup work without fender mods just curious.
