Default new owner need help

hi guys, name is Brent and i just bought a blue s2000, 2003. the guy I bought it from was a younger kid and he had is lowered on espelir springs a 1.5 inch drop all around and he got bigger tires all around on the car. made the front match the back and put bigger tires while lowering it. Im not sure what tire size is at the moment but I will find out asap and post it up. but i was wondering if anyone can tell me what tire size to go with. whether its stock or maybe a slightly smaller size is now? need new tires asap as these tires have already pushed on the fenders bending them out as well as chipping and cracking the paint.

Need to know the size, width and offset of the wheels that are on the car.

he left the stock rims on and just went with bigger tires on it all around with a 1.5 in drop. so it has 245/50/16 all around the car. i think stock tires would be okay but maybe a little smaller tire sense it lowered?

Stock sizes are good. Lowering won't have any clearance issue with stock wheels with stock tire sizes. A 245 on a 6.5" wheel? That is stuff off-road guys do.

245/50-16 is a much taller than stock size. OEM sizes are best on the OEM 16s: 205/55-16 fronts with 225/50-16 rears

went to a tire place early this morning and they couldnt get the stock size for front and rear in a match. so i couldnt stagger them which i wanted to but i did go a head and get a tire that looks good and is close to stock size, went with a 225/55/16. i hope it looks good and may post pictures up if people are interested.

I would have just waited for them to get the right size tire.

I have a pair of stock AP1 sized fronts (Dunlops Z2 non star spec) from a few years back. Not sure what shipping would be but I would sell them dirt cheap. They had a summer on them and have very little wear.

I agree with the others, I would not have gone with the size they ordered for you.

Tip: Go to TireRack. They will have what you need, most likely cheaper than the tire store. Have them shipped to the tire place and installed there.
