Need tires.
Ok so i need some new tires!!
i have a MY02 and am currently running MY-00 NSX wheels.
Offset* 55 front 60 rear
Width-- 7 front 8.5 rear
stock tires that are on it are the yoko a022h
Sizes:
215/45/16 front
245/40/17 rear
now with these sizes there is very few choices. i was thinking of going different sizes.
what would yall suggest??
i was thinking of maybe...
225/45/16 front?
255/40/17rear?
Im lowered on eibach pro kit on stock shocks..
would that work with out rubbing?? also would these sizes have same size tire profile??
i have heard some brand of tires like falken and bfgoodrich run wide?????
any help?? ...JIM???
thanks in advance

You're going to wider section widths with the same sidewall ratios. They will be taller than your current. Not taking brand differences into account, here are the differences based solely on the number calculations...
Tire Size...Sidewall...Diameter...Circumference...Rev/Mile...Difference
Fronts
215/45-16...3.8 in...23.62 in...74.20 in...854...0.0%
225/45-16...4.0 in...23.97 in...75.31 in...841...1.5%
Rears
245/40-17...3.9 in...24.72 in...77.65 in...816...0.0%
255/40-17...4.0 in...25.03 in...78.64 in...806...1.3%
So your speedometer will change by 1.3% as well...
Why do you feel like you need wider tires?

Only reason i am considering different sizes that stock is that with 215-45-16 the tire choices are limited!!
only ones i could find with same size tires as i have now, that are matching front and rear (under $200 a tire) that have a decent treadwear are the : Dunlop Direzza DZ101, Hankook Ventus Rs2 Z212
anyone have any experience with these??
i don't track the car. it just my weekend cruiser, but i do like to drive aggressively sometimes..
any opinions ?
