Default Need tire recommendations

Hi all, was hoping I could get a few suggestions for new tires

I currently have 275/40/17 NT-05s on the car that are nearing the end of tread life. I live in AZ so no snow, not a lot of rain so maximum dry traction is preferred. This is a daily, street driven car so R-comps are out of the question. I'd prefer to stay in the price point of ~$160/tire, but if there's a better one out there for a little more that's fine.

Def 205/45/17s all the way around . how long did the nittos last? I think one of the locals runs the kumho ecsta xs's and really likes them. They are $183 on tire rack.

Obviously not where you live, but there are places in AZ that get a TON of snow! There are, like, ski resorts and stuff in AZ

Sumitomo HTRZIII are probably your best bet. Reasonable $$$ at $138/ea, and pretty good all-around performance. Continental DW would offer a bit more grip, WAY more wet grip, for $161/ea. The Kumho XS mentioned above has fantastic dry grip, not so good wet grip, and is $187/ea at Tire Rack.
