Need tire advice +40 offset wheels
Hi All,
I need tire recommendations.
I'm currently running my stock AP2 RE050's but rear tends to rub on really hard dips.
The only set that I thought may work are the Falken FK-451's
Rears: 225/35R17
Fronts: 205/40R17
Wheels: 17x7.5" +40, 17x8.5" +40
Your feedbacks are greatly appreciated.

No tire will work, it'll rub no matter what on stock fenders, UNLESS If you roll/pull fenders+cambering and run Stretched tires, it'll work. Pretty aggressive offsets. I like. hope that works out for you. anywho, what rims did u get?

Thanks for the info. I am considering what you mentioned above (fender roll, negative camber, and thinner tires) but still contemplating if it's worth it. Also I would like to get my coiovers put in but don't think that will work with these wheels.
It's the Gram Light 57C's. Love the wheels, just limiting on what I can do. Definitely lghter than stock. However, I will be going back to stock wheels so I can get the CO's put in for now.
Thanks for the feedback.

haha, i knew it it was the gram lights!!!
I was also looking into the Gram light but in the 57s's though because they have a differnt touch to it, good shiet
The fronts are gonna be iffy a lil bit, but if u want to keep it in the safeside, i suggest u run there +48 offset (if they have it. 57s has one) but hey if your down to roll the rears, stretched rubber, and camber, y not do the same set up for the front and go with the +40. I think all you need is negative camber for the front. It'll look Sick. You'll lose a little contact patch if you run a stretched tire, but im pretty sure u can handle it. lemme know whats happening. Your wheels will look Flushed. very very nice.

if you try hard enough you can make those wheels fit. The fronts should work with camber at like -2.1... And the backs are gonna be very tough to fit with lowering and not rubbing.

^^^Look at kayvan's car in his Sig. He's running 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 +35 all around. He had to widened his front fenders a lil bit but it wasn't necessary, juss personal preference. His wheels are FLUSHED.
