Default Need some tire size advice.

I'm soon to order a set of Work Meister s1 3 piece wheels for my S.
The sizes are: front: 18x8 +56 offset rear: 18x9.5 +62 offset. What would be the ideal tire size for these rims to fit the S with no rubbing issues?

Also, I daily drive my car, so what would be the ideal tire that is great in dry and wet and at a great price? Currently I'm running S03's on my AP1 wheels and paying a fortune on those tires.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is ever anything such as an "ideal" tire size. You do the best you can do given the choices available and the money you can spend. Those offsets are actually pretty good. I'm going to suggest 225 up front and 255 (and possibly 265) in the back. This is assuming that you can get these sizes. I've left out the aspect ratio. It's up to you to select the appropriate aspect ratio so that you stay more or less with the same overall tire diameter as stock.

Please contact www.miracleworkers.com. Seriously, go to a site like TireRack and proceed to a tire brand and model that you think fits your price range. Then go to the specs and ratings page for that tire and jot down the rating numbers for wet, dry handling and wear, etc. Do this for several tires till you have enough of a selection for you to make up your own mind.

xviper is correct with the sizes on those wheels. You will be fine with the 225/40R18 front and either 255/35R18 or 265/35R18 rear. They will keep you in the same diameter as stock and with those offsets you won't have any rubbing.
If I can help with a specific tire let me know.

cool! thanks for the sizes. I want to keep the same diameter. As for tires. I've heard good things about the Toyo's good on dry and wet, good degree of tread life, (i know its all about how I drive) and not as pricey as the S03's.
