Need some advice for meaty tire setup

I was planning on ordering CCWs if I went with 18s anyway. So the custom wheels is not a problem, I will compare the pricing on the tires though, thanks for that.

With your 17" wheel size suggestion, would the rear wheels be sitting as the previous 18" setup? I'm assuming they would since you've giving up the width, but adding it onto the offset. just want to make sure. Confused about the front though, the wheel would actually sit 7mm more in than the 18" setup right?
Yes, roll front and rear with rear bumper tab relocation. You really have to relocate that rear bumper tab to gain any extra clearance, it's just part of the process.

Rear wheels would have very similar outside clearance and you are correct about the front. I was just selecting a size that was available off the shelf for that wheel. This site does a nice job calculating everything if you want to play around with width/offset: willtheyfit.com

Good luck, sounds like you will come up with something nice. Just curious, did you have issues with your previous CCW setup? They looked really good and it seems like you might end up with something very similar.

Thanks for the site and the clarification. I'm trying to do this correctly the first time instead of going back and redoing things, sorry about all the questions lol. I do love how yours sits with minimal camber.

I can't recall the exact measurements of the CCWs I had on the grey one (I think it was 18x 9.5 and 10.5 with 3x offset), but yes the inside of the rears would rub a tad bit on deeper bumps, and on full turns it would rub on the inside of the front a bit as well. No issues on the outside after fitting them.

Obviously I had to run outrageous camber. All the reasons I'm trying not to follow in the same route again. I def want something more functional this time around. I would like to enjoy this car more than I did my last.

How is your setup with spirited driving? curious if i would rub if I were to push the car a bit. Would the 18" setup be able to do light tracking?

All the wheel size options I listed with the 245/285 pairing and even the 255/295 are trackable. Which means they are fully functional, assuming you do the necessary fender work.
