Default Need help with wheels!!

I've set up my mind to go for Volk's TE37 18" wheels. I'm confused about the offsets people are talking about. What are they? What do I need to check for those Volk's wheels? I am hoping for 'no-rubs' if I turn the steering wheel all the way. and do I need to buy different size if I were to use Front 225/40/18, Rear 245/35/18?

Lastly, TE37 Bronze or Silver for the Sebring?

thanks

offsets - the bigger the offset, the more the wheel moves to the inside of the fender....

too far in, you start rubbing suspension, etc.... too far out and you rub your fender and the car looks ghetto.

normally volk TE's are 7.5 wide in the front with a 48mm offset (vs stock of 6.5" fronts with 55mm offset). rears are 8.5" wide with 50mm offset...which fills out the fender nicely..... normally no rubber front or back with that setup even if you lower the car.

The sizes you mention would work fine. To run a 255/35R18 on the rear you would need a higher offset wheel.
If I can help give me a call.
Thank you
