Default need help - what offset and size wheel

I have a 2003 with a Tracy Sport wide body kit and am looking into changing current wheels but need help on deciding what wheel offset and rim size.

I love the Volks TE37 (18x9.5 f-r) as well as the Advan RG-D (18x10 f - 18x10.5 r), and most probably am going to use 255/40 f and 275/35 r. Since the wide body is 40mm wider in front and 50mm in the rear, what would be the best offset to use with this size rims without rubbing and trying to be as flushed as possible with the wide body kit? Tires most probably are going to be Nitto 05R for traction purposes.

Please help.

Well this will very wildly depending on your definition of "flush". But based of my quick calculations, it's looking like around a +10 for the volks and +20 for the Advans will probably be what you're looking for.

I would choose different tire sizes no matter which way you go. The 255/40R18 is over an inch taller than stock. I am not sure on which wheel offset because I am not sure on the body kit. If I can help with the tires let me know.

^ Good point Jim. A 255/35/18 is roughly equivalent to the 215/40/17 in terms of overall diameter.

Did you buy the car from Go Tuning, or did you do the kit yourself? Pics of the car as it stands now?

I know with a 30mm front fender, it seems that 17x9 +35 looks pretty flush without rubbing, or 17x9.5+38. I would think anything around 18x9.5 or 18x10 +30 and up would be safest as far as not rubbing, especially if you are tracking the car. Volk makes the CE28 in 17x10 +12, but that would probably be pushing it.

Volk makes this new superlight edition TE...17x9.5 +28 or 17x9.5 +35, also 18x10 +20 or 18x10.5 +22. Or could go staggered with 17x9 +22 and the 17x9.5 +28. I just know 17" tires are considerably cheaper than 18s, but if you have the $ for these wheels that may not be a concern.
