Need help on Volk Racing GT-N 17"

Need help on Volk Racing GT-N 17"
I am just about to order the Volk Racing GT-N and since only the following size is available in 17" :7.0,8.0,9.0 I am not sure which to go with:O(((
The offset looks good its 50+ so I hope not to see any rubbing at all, even with a drop of 1.5"...So my question is:
7.0 front and 8.0 rear and what tire size?
8.0 front and 9.0 rear and what tire size?
I have PMed Jim but no response yet, yes I have used the search function but I still hope someone can help on this one.

Sorry about not answering the PM. I had turned it off and don't even check it. I would go with the 18X8 225/40R18 and the 18X9 255/35R18. The offset for the rear should be high 50's
