Spacers were not used on this setup. I do agree with Jim, I wouldn't run short and slim tires either.

my car is about 2inches low, 1 inch clearance/gap between the stock tires (F&R) and fender. if i do get this tires for my car(225 40 & 245 35) with 38 offset would this work with fender roll? would fender rolling damage my paint,I just got my car painted...

If you can find someone reputable to roll then the chance of cracking the paint can be minimized. The alternative is not rolling and ripping your bumper straight off.

8/9 18" +38 can fit a 215/245 setup with some good fender work. Nothing too crazy, IMO.
