Hello all!
Im looking for some input on new tires for my wheels and I would like to preface this by saying I have run the stock ap1 tire size on these wheels already and while they do fit I feel like they are maybe to narrow especially in the rear. I would like to keep the diameter of the stock setup more or less on my new wheels. I was running a 225/50/16 dunlop direzza z1 star spec on my factory wheels then I put them on my new wheels with no problems but Ive read we should upsize if not running the factory tires and then I hear thats also incorrect to some extent and I am just super confused.
So the wheels I wish to have input on are
Advan: SA3A
Front: 16x7 +38 with a 15mm spacer (I have no fitment issues they poke slightly but its barely noticeable)
Rear: 16x8 +32 with a 5mm spacer (fenders rolled come right to the edge ran them for half a year with no issues)

again I am looking for some input on what tires would be best for me to keep the factory diameter and possibly have a slightly wider rear tire as Im sure the factory rear tire size does not yield the same contact patch on an 8in wheel even though my new wheels are only half an inch wider all around

Just curiousity...how come you don't go with 17 inches? It has more option for tires

These Advans havent been made since the early 90's im told and I havent seen many around online and I have yet to see another set in person. After I had them I was thinking I should go up a size but I cant find a set of 17's for sale anywhere that is current all threads are like a few years old. I plan on getting the newer sa3r's in the future. But I kind of like the old school look these have and I think they look good on a lowered s2k.
