Need help fast! about offset on 19's
I am looking to buy some 19 by 8.5 wheels for the front and I do not know much about wheels so I need your help. What kind of offset do I need on the wheels. The guy I am buying it from says i need 40. I am planning on putting 235/35/19's on it if that helps. I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

it dont matter what size the diameter is ie: 16", 17", 18" and so on, the offset will not have an effect on that... for an 8.5 look for something around a 45-50... anything higher will require less modification if none at all, anything lower might require fender rolling or negative camber...
also, u plan on putting a 235 on an 8.5" tire all around??? do u just plan on having this car for looks and looks alone??? i think u need to do some more research... and i think a 235/30 would be the correct choice...

I am on stock suspension and springs. The rear wheel is a 19 by 10. Planning on going 275/30/19 on the rear and 235/35/19 on the front. I haven't gotten anything done to my fenders. So does that mean the 40mm offset is too big? Thanks for your help

It says a 58 but you could get away with a +55mm offset without having to modify anything.
"235 tires: +58 offset minimum (7.5

If you want to keep your fenders untampered and run tire sizes that big, you have have to ante up the offset to +65 and up.
