Need advice on rear tire
Hi everyone quite new to the forums. Maybe you guys can help me.
Well, picked up an unexpected hitch-hiker on one of my rear tires on the way home:
I'm running stock MY05 RE050's all round, brand new too, well until I ran over this 2cm drill bit/broken nail/burr/thing...Should I order a new RE050 and wait a while or should I go for a different brand that's in stock locally? Also according to the sticky at the top of the forum the S03's are very similar to the RE050 in width, would getting a pair of those for the rear be ok, or will there be a drastic change in handling?
Finally, changing the subject a little, I've been thinking of getting Some 17" Ce28's or Te37's in S2000 offsets, would the stock RE050/S03 fit?
Thanks

If your existing RE050s are close to new, just get another RE050 to replace it. You could also check a tire shop to see if that tire can be repaired. No sense changing all tires at this point unless you want an all-season or snow tire.
Don't mix and match. It's a bad idea all around.
Yep, stock tires will fit on those wheels.
Cheers.

That puncture doesn't appear to be on or near the sidewall. Since it's still new, I believe it can be salvaged. Ask the tire shop to unmount the tire from the rim and do an interior patch (NO plugs), mount the tire back on and re-balance.
