I do really like the look of these and they're highly customizable for sizes and pretty cheap. There was an instance a few years back of a guy who broke one in a few trackdays on this forum. I believe his sizes were 17x10 + 55, so pretty aggressive. Allegedly Forgestar made some changes to strengthen the wheels. I'm not suggesting that people using them on the street will break them. I'd just be curious, as a follow-up, if anyone has a bunch of hard track hours on them since the changes. If I go much more aggressive in the future, these would be high on my list if I can trust them.

Forgestar has redesigned for thicker spokes. another user did a comparison, and all of the ones being produced for quite some time now have been the thicker spokes.

Said user in video below admitted to having past "offs" and also stated that he only inspected the front of the wheels between track days and did not inspect the back.

Ha - I just watched that video an hour ago!
I don't track my car - but still don't want to buy wheels known for failures. But - seems they have redesigned them to be stronger.
I'll price out a set - I do like the fact that you can order these to a custom spec...

Plenty of data in this thread, unfortunately some of the pictures have been scrubbed.

Do you trust Enkei RPF-1s? Everyone runs them.

They're a garbage wheel for track use. They bend and crack so easily if you use track curbing, which is absolutely necessary for some tracks. I've seen so many RPF-1 wheels bend and crack. There was one time attack event that i went to that had 5 cracked/bent RPF-1 17x9 +45 wheels from 5 different cars. Their track use on the s2000 has declined over the years now that more people are running BBKs.

After further research these won't work for me. All the available offsets in an 18 inch wheel will require fender mods...

Thanks everyone for the information!
