I would just drive on them. Within a few miles it should be off the tread. I just would not put anything on the tire. I do use a tire dressing on my tires but they do take the oils out of the tire and will turn the tires brown.
My tires wear out fast enough that they never have enough time to degrade.

Thanks everyone. I am prob 90% back to normal. Mother nature helped out last night with heavy rain while parked.

Even when i have treated my tires on weekends the slippage dissapeared after 10-20 miles. but this time it took literally over 100 miles and several days and a downpour!

Whatever that car wash used it was some slippery stuff; never again.

btw jim, i bought the avon mtech 550 all seasons from tirerack and i love them. not as sticky as the bridgestones but it is a reliable all season for such a sporty car as an s2k.

The real test will be the winters in tri-state ny. I hope i can drive 20 miles to and from work after snow is plowed on major roads.
