My dealer replaced my rear S-02's with S-03's...
I needed new rear tires and my dealer said he'd replace them. But instead of getting S-02's like I had before, he put on a pair of S-03's. Size = 225/50/16. The front tires are still S-02's. So now I've got S-02's in the front and S-03's in the rear. Dealer says he talked to Bridgestone and they said it's no problem to do this, have different tires front vs. rear, as long as they're all Potenza's.
What do you guys think?

I think he had a couple of spare tires in the store room he wanted to get rid of. He gave you the wrong size to boot. Go back and bitch about it and demand the SO2's.

I drove the tires home (about 10 miles round trip) before returning to the dealer. He says he can't take them back. Not my fault that he ordered the wrong tires, but I probably should have raised a stink before leaving the dealership.

30 DAY TEST DRIVE
All Bridgestone and Firestone passenger light truck tires except: runflat, sealant, winter, and temporary spare tires, sold through an authorized dealer are covered by the 30 Day Test Drive. If a retail customer who purchased eligible Bridgestone or Firestone tires is not completely satisfied, they can return the tires to the location from which the tires were purchased within

Also, 225/50/16 are the wrong size for the rear tire for non OEM S02 tires. You want 245/45/16 tire sizes. The OEM s02 rear tire is wider than "regular" 225/50/16 tires, and to maintain the same tread width, you need the 245/45/16 tires.
