Mugen Rims
Hey guys!!
I was wondering if someone can help me out on this set of wheels since I don't know anything about offset diameter etc... I'm planing to buy new wheels for my s2k Ap1 and I don't really want to go higher than 16", I wanted to be as stock possible.
This is the spec of the rims I want;
Rim Width: 6
Rim Diameter: 16
Offset: +53
Number of Bolts: 5
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Hub Bore: 64
And this is the OEM spec;
Rim Material: Alloy
Rim Width: 6.5 (F) / 7.5 (R)
Rim Diameter: 16
Offset: +55 (F) / +65 (R)
Number of Bolts: 5
Hub Bore: 70.1 (F) / 64.1 (R)
Any help comments suggestion are welcome, thank you!

Have a machine shop bore out the the centers of the wheels. You will lose a lot of traction and handling capabilities because the biggest tire you will be able to fit on them is about a 205.

If you want it to be as stock as possible, stay stock. Either keep your AP1 wheels or jump to AP2 wheels.
The rims you specified are too narrow - you won't be able to get enough tire on the rear of the car and will significantly sacrifice traction. You will also have to get them bored out to fit.
There are several options out there that are pretty cheap and will fit much better than this. Check the FS/FT forum for options, or stay stock.
