Default Which model years have exact same rims oem

Just need a quick clarification. All rims on the s2000 remained the same until either 04 or 05, correct? I'm asking b/c I just ordered a replacement rim from ebay from a '01 to go on my '02.

00-01 are the same
02-03 are the same (they are different than 00-01, finish was slightly altered)
04-05 are the same

That '01 rim you ordered is a different finish than your '02.

Damn. I actually ordered all 4 rims, but 2 of them have slight curb damage. My FR rim also has curb damage, and my RR was destroyed this past weekend when I spun out & hit the curb sideways (don't drink & drive). I had hoped to be able to use the 2 good rims I ordered, plus the 2 good ones I already had. Now, it looks like I'll be using all 4 '01 rims. They are the same size though, correct? Does anyone want to trade?

If you haven't had your alignment checked you better do so. I did something similar and bent the knuckle causing my alignment to never be correct. I've fixed it, but before doing so I went through three sets of rear tires and I only have 14k miles on the car. Tires get expensive!!!

Don't worry. I'll definetly be getting it aligned before it leaves the shop. I'm just trying to save $ on the parts. The tire/rim hit w/ enough force to crack 1/3 of the brake rotor off. A connecting rod completely sheared. Damage is pretty extensive in the RR tire area, but luckily no body damage at all. I'm not sure how deep the damage went, but I hope the frame isn't bent. The tire/rim/hub looks like it absorbed most of the impact. Any ideas on cost of repair? It's at the Honda dealership, & I'm awaiting an estimate. I wish I had a digital camera to show the damage. It looks so strange w/ 1 malled rim, and the rest of the car just shining.

The difference between the MY01 and MY02 rims is so slight that you can only tell if they are side by side (or, on the same side of the car).

Hopefully you will be able to mix and match with your "good" rims to put two of the MY01s on one side of the car and two of the MY02 rims on the other side.

Only you will ever know there is a difference ...

HMMMM... sounds like a good idea. Might have to try it. Thanks for the advice. Anyone else have an opinion on this idea?
