Default Meaty fitment question!

Hello. I currently run a nonstaggered 17x9 +45 with 245/40 tires. I am lowered about 1 finger gap all around (-1.5 camber up front and -3.4 camber rear). I have someone who wants to trade for their nonstaggered 17x9 +22 wheels. I also want to run 245/40 tires on them as well. I now have 20mm wider front fenders (with inner fender shaved) and 25mm rear overfenders (with lip shaved so about 38-40mm space now. Would I still be able to run a meaty fitment with the +22 offset (with 1 finger gap drop front and rear) considering that I have wider front and rear now?

With the wider fenders that fitment shouldn't be a problem at all. You could probably run less camber too, especially in the rear.

Do you think Id be ok with -1.5 camber up front? I had issues with +45 with -1 camber on stock rolled fenders. Also do you think id rub or anything with the +22?

I'm running 9 +45 up front on stock rolled fenders with -1.8 and have no issues. The +22 sticks out 23 mm more, which your wide fenders accomadate.

It should be fine. Like I said a test fit is the best way to find out.

I think you will need camber joints up front and increase the camber close to -3.0. That is what I run with 245s all around and it feels great, although I got the alignment when I got the wheels so I have nothing for comparison. I think my camber is -2.8 or -2.9 all around, max caster and just a little bit of rear toe (within AP2 stock range).

I will definitely test fit before I run it. Do you feel like the car is still daily-able with -3 camber all around? It still rides ok in the rain on the highway and etc?

I daily mine with -1.8 front -3.6 rear and I haven't had any problems. Tire wear hasn't been too bad either.
