Mandatory to get 245/45/16?
Hey guys,
I've been reading that if you don't get the rear oem, then you should get 245/45/16. Is this size really necessary? I've been looking to get all season tires, but it's very difficult for me to get this size. Often, I've found 245/50/16, but I don't know if this set would be acceptable. If not, then I guess I should just be looking harder...

No, its not necessary. The car won't fall apart or anything. The 245/45/16 size is just closer to the OEM 225/50 than most other 225/50's available. If you're just looking for all seasons and won't be doing any agressive driving, 205/55 front and 225/50 rear will be just fine.

Non-OEM 225/50-16 = OK
Personally I'd prefer that over 245/50-16s.

Well, I was looking and I found some BF Goodrich g-force t/a kdw2 45/45ZR-16 94Y B. So far, those tires seem to be the best fit for the rear. Any thoughts?

Bridgestone RE-750. This is a great tire for stock AP1 rims, daily driving and occasional spirited driving. Good in the wet but not an all season tire. Read the Tire Rack reviews.
