When I bought aftermarket 18" wheels with a 48 offset what type of lugnuts can I get any special sites with good prices and anyone know the exact sizes?? Or can I or should I use the stock lugnuts from the stock rims on my S2000...BTW anyone know where black lugnuts for aftermarket wheels could be purchased???

evasivemotorsports.com

depending on which rims you have, you can fit stock lugs...there are other alternatives with keys/locks such as muteki, kyokugen (sp?), gorilla etc etc.

many aftermarket rims require tapered conical lug nuts, and the stock acorn nuts won't work.

You can get closed ended lugs. I would recommend McGard Tuner Lugs and McGard locks. You can get theem from amazon.com. The powder coat is much nicer then those of muteki, its shiner and thicker. Of course they cost more though.

oem= acorn (conical)

aftermarket are tapered

which means dont use ur oem nuts they have rounded end. aftermarket wheels have a 60degree taper so they have more surface area on the wheel.

anywho.. open ended/closed dont matter it just depends what u like. i prefer closed because they dont cause any errosion on the studs... esp if u live up north open ended rnt good to have in snow/salt etc
