Default Lug Nuts Keep Coming Loose

I just bought the piaa super rozzas 18" for my s2000. there are spacers provided i dont know whether piaa sent them or the shop gave them to me but I am using them. It seems like my front lug nuts keep coming loose. I can tighten them and then drive and they come loose again....atleast one of them. What could be causing this? my wheels are a 7.5 in the front and 8 in the year yet my years are fine..its just my front wheels.

Spacers? Are you talking about hub spacers or hub-centric rings?

Are you using a torque wrench?

I do not recommend the use of loctite on lug nuts. If anything, a small amount of anti-sieze is a good way to ensure stud and nut longevity.

There are two likely possibilities:
1) Incompatible hub-centric seating, and
2) Incompatible lugnuts

1) The front and rear hubs have different sized hub-centric seating surfaces with the front hub having a larger diameter than the rear. Some people have mounted rear rims on the front of their cars and reported problems with lug nut tightness. If your aftermarket wheels are hub-centric or use hub-centric centering rings, make sure that the correct wheel and/or centering ring is used in each application.

2) Please check the lugnut seats on your new wheels and make certain that you are using the correct lugnuts for them. The OEM lugnuts have a spherical (or ball) seat whereas many aftermarket wheels use a tapered (or conical) seat. If you're using the OEM spherical seat lugnuts whith conical seat wheels, they will not tighten properly.
