^ I would be happy with the same thing. I would assume anodizing wouldn't come off unless you really started cutting into the metal. But I am not sure thats why I posted the thread. Id prefer not to spend to much. Not that I'm cheap but they are just lug nuts.

I've heard good things about Gorilla Lugs. They have a close ended forged aluminum lug that are similar to Work and Ray's lugs, though much cheaper.

As long as you are using the right type of lug nut it doesn't really matter. A lugNUT is just that, a NUT. I have seen some really cheap chrome nuts that tend to rust. These are the free lugs you get at some wheel and tire places. You don't need to buy expensive JDM lugnuts for hundreds of dollars. I could understand spending extra to get nice looking lugnuts, but I wouldn't spend too much. I have seen expensive and cheap lugs wear and chip just the same. I have been using DGR lugnuts, and the finish has not chipped and the color has not faded. The DGR nuts are great quality and are reasonably priced. Other than aesthetics, pretty much any lugnut of the right type set at proper torque will safely hold your wheels to your car.

Right, the crown on the lugs sit differently on stock vs aftermarket. 949racing has some good lugs and are inexpensive: http://949racing.com/lugsandvalves.aspx

SOS has a basic set as well: http://scienceofspeed.com/products/e...uner_lug_nuts/

Sounds good. How about these?

Not looking to spend much. Prefer red or black.
as long as you make sure that you buy the correct thread pitch and seat, these will work fine. They are anodized, so the finish should be durable. I would get the black. I have seen too many faded red lugs to trust these not to fade.
