Looking for track rims and tires
#2
This may not be "cheap" but it's the best option that I could come up with: I bought a set of OEM take-offs. Used S2000 rims generally sell for $5-700 a set depending on condition. Add some Kumho Victoracer 700 tires (bought from TireRack, of course) and you have an excellent set of track/autocross wheels for around $1100-1200 including installation and balancing.
If you're interested, I have a friend that wants to sell his 16" SSR Integrals. They fit the car but do not conform with the stock requirements for autocross. They'd make a very nice set of track wheels and I think he'd sell them for less than the prices mentioned above.
