I need new tires for my 18" BBS RGRs. I've had Yokohama ES100s and hated them. Hate them more than any other tires I've ever had.

I don't drive the car much, but when I do, I have fun with it. Mostly in the canyons and the occasional track day. So I don't care about wet weather and all that. I'm just looking for grip. but i'm also looking for something on the cheaper side...

I'm leaning towards the KUMHO Ecsta MXs but haven't heard much about them. Has anyone tried them and can you give me a comparison to another tire(s).

Also since I dont see a MX in 255/35/18 anywhere would a 26/35/ fit alright? The car is lowered with no problems with the 255s.
