Looking for an odd match

I wouldn't pick based on a specific size preferance. More important to get the RIGHT make/model tire most appropriate for your wants/usage/needs.
What size wheels do you have? What *are* your wants/needs?
max dry grip?
max wet/dry grip?
occasional cold weather/snow usage?
track or autoX?
etc.
Chances are the best tires for you won't be available in those specific sizes. You'll get a MUCH better selection of tires changing the rear size to 255/40-17. Better gearing (slightly), too!

Yup, a grand total of ONE tire available in the desired sizes! Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval. Their highest-rated "Ultra High Performance Summer" tire. If you don't mind less grip than OEM, with additional life, and no snow/ice/cold-weather usage, this tire appears to be a good choice.
In contrast there are 21 tires are available in 225/50-16 and 255/40-17, including 6 "Max-" or"Extreme-Performance" tires that will outgrip the Firestone. Most of those actually have greater tread width vs. the 265 Firestone, btw.
But again, the first question is what your real wants/needs and usage are.

Yes I am running NSX spec wheels, on my M7's I have the 225 50 16 and 255 40 17. ON my MF10's I want to try to run a wider wheel in the back. Is there any combo's with a 225 50 16 and a 275 40 17. I been looking but it seems that is the hardest combo to find.

What are your actual needs and range of usage coditions?
As USMCs2k mentioned, the Tire Rack website allows you to search for any different size front/rear tires you want, in the performance category or categories you want/need. Have you tried it?
225/50-16 275/40-17 Max- and Extreme-Performance tires
275/40-17's are .7"-.9" taller than stock at 25.7". Equivalent to changing gearing from 4.10:1 to 3.97:1. More front braking bias, not a huge issue but absolute braking distances may increase. Rubbing is also more likely to be an issue, depending on offset.
