Default Looking to add 17x9's +45 up front.

I'm currently running 17x8F and 17x9R Enkie RPF1's. I'm looking to add some 17x9's to the front. I am lowered on Tein S-techs 1"-1.5". Question is what tire size can I run without having to mess with the fenders? 225/40 or 235/40?

I've got a 245/40 in the rear with rolled fenders and tab relocated.

Think your gonna have to roll the fender and or have negative camber. With the 9" should really do 225 front and 255 rear or 255 all around.
With a 245 rear would want a 215 front but that's gonna be stretched quite a bit on a 9" wheel.

Do 245/40 in the front. There's no point to adding a 9" wheel if you're not going to do nonstagger (matched tires all around).

Main reason is often for the concave face if not wanting non staggered. That's the reason i bought the work emotions 17x9 all around. Don't want the added oversteer of the non staggered tires for the street.

Exactly. I was doing for for the look of the wheel (concaveness) . I love the way the back wheel looks but can't stand the fronts. Oh well, I may just live with it for now.

lol, i mean, its good to run them for aesthetic reasons, but the car can really be make quite neutral running non-staggered with just some sways. Most probably don't push the car hard enough for it to really matter one way or the other.

I think 9 inch wheels with a 225 or 235 looks retarded. Id go with a 245 minimum. A plus to running the same tire size all around is that you can rotate them...

I've seen 17x9 +45 all around w/ 245/40/17 all around and even 255/40/17 all around.

you could do 245/40 or 255/40 around, you just need to increase camber. That's assuming your fenders are all rolled and flared.

im currently on 225/45 245/40 btw on my 17x9s and the riding is just like stock. I'm looking to do 255/40 around after these tires are gone and add a larger front sway bar.

Don't need to flare to fit them. Roll and negative camber would do the trick.

dont even have to roll with that drop, just push the tabs in the front fender up
the main reason s2k fronts get messed up is because the tire snags one of the tabs holding the liner. Since your not tucking tire you just need to push the tabs up to avoid hitting them, a roll is only needed when the worry of the tire actually rubbing the lip of the fender (i.e. slammed)
if youre in fort worth hit up PTP as they have done this to many s2ks in the area
heat em up and push up further up in the liner and youll be good to go
