FYI for anyone who lands this page. Just bought the exact same wheels as the OP and they fit without any clearance issues. The seller must've gotten feedback from the guy with the wheels that didn't fit and changed the offset. The one's that didn't fit we're +40 in the rear. So 2mm really made the difference.

The wheel seller recommends 215/40/18 (f) and 245/35/18 (r). He said that there shouldn't be any problems with a little lowering but "don't lower too much." I want to go pretty low so I'll be putting on 235/35/18 for the rear and keeping his recommendation for the fronts. I used pics from tyrestretch.com for reference.

Front: 215/40/18: http://www.tyrestretch.com/8_215_40_R18/
Rear: 235/35/18: http://www.tyrestretch.com/9_235_35_...35_R18.jpg.php

I will post pics when they're mounted next week.

Here's a side shot. Definately needs some fender rolling and possibly camber.

I currently run 18s, f-225/40 r-255/35...unsure of offset. My S isn't lowered and the fenders aren't rolled. I only experience rub when I hit dips or potholes as well, which is not too often so this minor rubbing is not an issue with me. I'm looking for new wheels and just want to know if either of the following set ups will work with my stock ride height. Bare in mind the infrequent rubbing doesn't bother me.

F-18x8 +45 215/225 35 R-18x9 +45 245/255 35
Or
18x9.5 +35 or +40 235/35 all around

I'm open to suggestions on best tire size for both options. As I have not had any fender issues with current set up, I'm trying to avoid fender mods if at all possible but I'm open to the idea. I appreciate any info you guys provide.
