Little help with Toyo T1S and S03 on 18"s please
Got a set of rims 18x7.5 18X8 all offset +48. I am leaning towards Proxies T1-S because i heard they run more narrow which prevent alot of rubbing. And im also only using them for street. I know they are low profile but are these tires way too low profile? I want to know this because there are some potholes around my area. I was thinking 225/40/18F and 245/35/18R. I wanted to go with S03s but they dont make 245/35/18 in the rear. i have to go with 255/35/18R which i hear may rub alot and i recall someone said 255 will look too fat. BTW, i'm running on Tein RAs also.
Any advice will be helpful, Thanks in advance!

I have 18" (245/40/18) T-1S on my Evo (18x8.5 wheels) and they are great. Actually the tire has a slightly taller sidewall than other comparable 40-series tires and they have a really pronounced rim guard along the outer edge. I only rub at full-lock under load, so I can't complain. I'm sure it would be the same boat with the S2K.
For the record, the S-03s ran out of grip way too early for my tastes. I had them on my '01 S2K (17").
