Default Lip in the front, BIIIG lip in the back...

I'm looking to get some new wheels soon and I like the look of a deep dish wheel. My buddy has some nice wheels on his G37 coupe that I really like, but I want to stay with 17" wheels. He can put a dollar on his wheel and it extends from end to end on the lip. Is there anything like that I can fit on the S2 without rolling the 1/4 panel? All the wheels I see anymore on S2s are plain like a FWD wheel. Show me the way please! Maybe even some pictures where I can see BB S2s with a deeper lip in the back would be nice too.

I'm starting to think that we don't have this option maybe because our rear hubs extend too far out. Am I right?

Basically...yes.

You can get some wheels to work by running camber and doing body work. Check out the hellaflush thread in the Gallery. Otherwise, your best choice might be to get some CCW's. Dan is very knowledgeable when it comes to S2k's.

simple answer here is if you arent going to do fender work... your not going to get what you want.

^ Agreed, S is not the car for deep lips...350z or G woulda been your ticket...but the S is more fun to drive with lightweight wheels that FIT Stick to the higher offsets...48-60+ for the most part.

Yep to get decent lips you will at least need a fender roll, quite a bit of camber + some conservative tires.

If you did a fender pull or flare you can have many more possibilities.
