Okay... So the Scion guy " flipped the face" of the BBS LM wheels? Or did he just use a whole different method? And also "-8 offset" can you confirm that since a few offset numbers have been thrown out there.

flipping the face is a -8 offset..so it would make your offset +27
if you message Alex (Alexisthemovie) and (I2GQ4U) or whatever it is...who just did this, they both say its a 15mm offset difference.

my guy...who imports, refurbishes, and sells many different rims including LM's tells me its 8. i have not actually measured it, but i have no reason to doubt him as he has done it to multiple sets of LM's

^^ Alex does the same thing and is a wheel guru on here, whome we all know very well on his site. I too, have no reason to doubt he knows what he is talking about. That being said, my wheels arrive today and I will confirm this within the next few days.

Still doing research, anyone else know anything about the offset change?

Reverse mounting the wheels will yield closer to a 15mm offset change than 8.

I gained approximately 1/2" of additional lip as a result + the wheel looks better. More of the polished portion of the wheel is exposed which I prefer over the painted center.

Reverse mounting of the wheels is definitely a big change (As far as offset) but probably won't yield earth shattering results (As far as gaining lippage), especially on a 9" LM.

Not sure about flipping them, but I am running a 235/45/17 and a 255/40/17 rather than a 255/45/17 bc this way the sidewalls are about the same. The 255/40 has a 102 mm and the 255/45 has 114 mm. The 235/45 has a 105 mm sidewall.
