My s2000 is my second car just for motorsport activities, but will be used on the weekends for a spirited drive.

Will for sure be less than 10000 miles per year...more like 5000 miles at the most per year.

I must've missed this review. A shame the Dunlop Z2's weren't thrown into this test. The only "problem" with this review is it seems more auto-x oriented vs. track oriented, which is understandable. Hard to say how well the 71R's would hold up to 30 min sessions vs. single hot laps here and there. I thought someone posted elsewhere and said they wear very fast (only lasted a few days), so that's a pretty big tradeoff if you're using these for HPDE usage.

I'm quite happy with my Z2's (non SS). They do tend to get a little greasy, but overall they're a solid tire. The RS3s seems to really handle the heat well which I'd imagine makes them so popular for track cars vs. auto-x.

Just got a set of AD08R for Black Friday.

They are out of RE11A, RE11, and temporarily out of Hankook RS3.....so I had only this choice, which I don't think I'll regret.
