no Kumho....... can beat any Potenza

I had a Lexus GS430, it came stock with S03s.

I've never seen any Lexus, or any other sports car, come stock with Kumhos.

I prefer S02s, but its hard to be S03s. Very, Very nice tire.

S03s........... i would say ......... are more like a sport luxury car tire.

Unless you're concerned about lap times the MX's are a screaming deal.
I've switched from S02's to the MX's and can honestly say I prefer the MX.
Rides and corners great.

Subby,

The following is just my opinion and not meant to offend anyone with the kuhmo's.

The Kuhmos are not that light. This comes from me weighing a set of 17" volks with kuhmos and my 18" SSR's with Goodyear Eagle F1's. The Kuhmos are really liked by those that have 'em and that says a lot. I'm not a huge fan of how the sidewall looks but that is not a big deal.

Have you considered the Goodyear Eagle F1's (Corvette OEM tires)?? I have 'em and like 'em. Or have you considered the Potenza RE050's. They now come in a non run-flat version for 18's. I don't know about the 17's but they are OEM on the MY04's and OEM on the Ferrari ENZO!!!

Just a few more thoughts. I know most want a balance between perfomance and price.
