Damn, thats a pretty long delay. Hopefully it makes up for it with incredible performance.

Is the V720 a replacement for the V710 or XS? Reason being the V710 looks like a slick rather than a street tire..?

Just as long as it's price competitive and within +1.00s of the faster tires out there (DII, RS3, AD-08r, and to a lesser extent equal to RE-11a, which is +1).

I'm not within +1 of the fastest drivers, so it's not the tires I need to work on, but my driving.

The ecsta v720 is a replacement for the ecsta xs (EHP street tire). You are correct the v710 is a DOT r-comp (a decently aggressive one at that) and not a street tire.

I would be willing to bet it will be at least as fast, if not faster than those mentioned above. I think the interesting test will be between these, the ZII SS, R-S4 (when it finally shows up) and Bridgestone's and Yokohama's new releases whenever those shows up (likely Q2 2015)

100 tread wear r comp? Yes please. Looking forward to seeing this. I have 25k Street miles on my ra1's and may need to replace next year. Was looking at cup tires. Hopefully these are cheaper.
