Just got my new tires mounted
Found out I had an unrepairable puncture in my rear tire, so instead of just swapping out the rears, I decided to do away with my all-seasons and get a full set of Fuzion ZRi's. Couldn't beat the price....and I've heard great things about them.
I ordered from Tire Rack yesterday at 3pm EST and they were at the shop by 1pm EST this afternoon. Talk about fast shipping! Jim - If you're reading this, I put your name as my "sales guy."
I went to go pick up my car around 4pm and as I was walking towards my car, I could tell that the tires just did not look right. The goofball at the shop put the 245's on the front and the 225's in the back! I couldn't believe somebody would do such a thing. Lucky for me, they weren't foolish enough to just simply unbolt the wheels and swap em.....I give them credit for knowing they had to mount the tires on the correct wheels all over again. The sucky part was waiting around the shop for another hour for this to get done.
After looking at the finished product, I regret going with the 225's up front on my stockers. It looks a little too big for the rim...I probably should have stuck with the 205's?
So far, the car feels solid (compared to my all-seasons) and the tires look half-way decent too. (although the FUZION name sounds very tacky).

Jim - I agree....the car feels like a whole new beast once I swapped out the all-seasons. Handling has improved 100% since the change.
Blurn - that is messed up...some folks just don't pay attention to detail....
