i make 3 piece 17/18 and 1 peice 18/19/20

as of right now only for RACE use and commercial sales... im doing extra R&D to make them one of the "nicest" rims out there..

i should have them on my car in january/february.. and then.. after the first set should have each of the additional 4 designs on car in 1 month intervals.. im moving slow.. but itl be nice and well worth the wait once done.

jline wheels are nice.. the ones u like are strong, im just saying do you autox? do u have insane mods to the car that would allow you to achieve incredible Gforces on the wheels? more than loikely not.. so go for it...

as per price.. call them up.. say "hey ive got s2k" noone on s2ki has ur rims... would u like me to be the first person, ill take pictures and post them up etc.. and show off your wheels.. for a discount .. more than likely theyll go

2200--19's
1900--18's
(which is alot off their site price) then add some GOOD tires

and PPPPPLEASE do me a favor if you buy them.. get AT LEAST some 10" wide or 10.5's in the rear

10.5 +73----+76 fits fine w/ a 285/30/18 (or if u wan smaller diameter 285 fits..._

if your gonna go custom u might as well have something people see and nut themselves on the highway cause ur rear tires r steamrollers

****remember more traction in the rear will cause understeer, so camber the fronts more to "create more oversteer" and make the fronts 8" ---8.5" wide with a 235/245 tire ...

235/40 on 8.5

285/30 on 10.5 with -1.5R and -2.0F should come out pretty neutral w/ a lil understeer still there..

mess w/ camber to dial in/out the over/under steer

Good information rijowysock

Orlando is my second home. Where in Otown are you?

I have been researching these Jline wheels also. They are owned by the guy who used to own DTM Kruez. I only know this because I used to have an Audi. A lot of Euro tuners run these wheels. I emailed to inquire about the about their wheels last week. They didn't bite on the give me a deal and I will be glad to promote the wheels by posting pics thing. Maybe I didn't sell it well enough. I will reply to the email I got from them today. I will check back and let you know how it goes. I was thinking about the 2 piece. Are you saying that the 3 piece would be stronger.

I live in Cali, but just bought a home in Waterford Lakes, about 2-3 mins from UCF.

I just replied to his email using a more aggressive pitch. Hope it works this time. I wonder if you can estimate the rear lip size for me to see if this sales manager is telling the truth. I asked about 18x10 rears with a +70-73 offset. He says to expect a 2 inch lip. Does that sound about right to you? I wouldn't know so I am not doubting him, I am just asking.

Riley: thanks for the very informative posts. I have more confidence in the brands of Kinesis and Fikse (even after the pic of the broken Kinesis) as I've known several pro-racers that use their wheels and have not had issues (as long as they do the recommended checks and maintenance). More history and real-world testing provides more confidence. Being involved in the supply of OEM products (not wheels), I'm often surprised in the lack of R&D and testing performed by many mfr's. The more stringent the end requirements, however, the more often more testing is done. Since brands such as JLine and IForged don't have any intent for motorsports use (whereas Kinesis and Fikse are marketed for those purposes), I have less confidence in their durability. I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer:

- Are the rim hoops used by JLine/IForged/DTM/DPE the same as the ones used by Kinesis/HRE/Forgeline? And are these the same used by CCW/Kodiak? I've spoken to the owner of CCW and he admits the rim hoops he uses for his 3pc wheels are not as strong as those used by Forgeline, and other brands. I've spoken to a Kodiak rep and he also admitted their wheels (which are solely inteded for motorsports use) is weaker than other brands. I've heard Fikse mfr's their own rim hoops.

- Why is 3pc stronger than 2pc? If both rim hoops (whether a single hoop or 2 hoops (inner and outter)) are mfr'd in the same process (spun), what makes the single hoop stronger?

Thanks for your time and I look forward to seeing your wheels.

3 peice are stronger just because each side is made individ and are thicker generally to hold the forces put on it..

plus benifit of 3 peice is u can replace lips

CCW/kodiak use same hoops they buy off a company in cali that also sells to foose and them guys.

fikse makes the nicest hoops.. and yes they make their own hoops.

as for the other questions im getting tired of reading ill come back l8er and edit
