Default Jim, I need Kumho MX tires

I was checking on tirerack and they have the fronts in stock, but i need 245/50/16 for the rear's and they didn't have them.. any idea of when they will?? or does kumho even make them in that size?? or do u have something else u would recomend?? thanks..

oh yeah, and the reason for the bigger rear is i'm getting spoon wheels, so it's 16x8 in the back..

The rear tires are 3/4" taller than the OE tires and would throw off your anti lock brakes and the gear ratio. I don't think it will work correctly.

Jim- do the MX come in 245/45 yet?

I'm thinking the MX is going to be a better choice than the 712s.

You are getting wheels that are slightly wider than stock (8in vs 7.5in). There's no reason to go with a taller sidewall. If you want to go with 245 section tires, they should be 245/45-16.

According to tirerack.com, the MX doesn't come in 245/45. Has anyone tried them in 225/50? They appear to be a pretty wide tire.
