Jim: Help with load ratings?
I cannt help but notice that a lot of people have 17 and 18's on their cars. SWEET .... however, when I looked at the tyre specs, it seems that the higher the rim size (and therefore the lower the side wall profile), the laod rating seems to be lower, and I dont seem to be able to find a size that would allow at least the stock rating of 89, 92 .... any comments on this?
I seem to have this problem tooo with the 17's ... so what would you recommend (I am looking at Yoks AVS Sports) as a size
I thought 205, 45 and 245, 40 would be good, but the 205 is 87W, and not 89W .... (specs and size taken from tirerack)
Technically ... thats not legal right?
