Now leave Jim alone. He's busy taking orders for Potenza RE-11s
Section width is not the same as tread width. I can't be the only one that see's this?

Dunlop doesn't post tread widths.

It's a miss leading measurement due to the rounded shoulders of a tire. Tread width will drastically change based on load, tire pressure, tire wear, etc... more so than section width.

Well I guess I'll just have to order them and measure myself. Wish me luck!

i got 255's for the rear, and i gotta say, for the price, i cant imagine getting any other tire. the RE-11's might be amazing, but unless dunlop raises their prices or bridgestone lowers theirs, im not making the switch any time soon, the dunlops are awesome.

Just ordered a set of these myself. Can anyone hazard a guess as to how the life might compare to the OEM tires? From what I hear, the performance will be outstanding but I'm wondering how much wear life I might see compared to the original Bridgestone tires. Thanks-Ken B.

Measured 'em myself. Unmounted I estimate 8 5/8" tread width on a 225/50R16
