Default Jim@Tire Rack, Question

Jim,

I've been waiting for my tires to arrive and had some time to think about the sizes I ordered.

I purchased O.Z. Supperleggara 17x7 and 17x8 shod with BFG KD 225/45-17 and 245/40-17. Several people have since cautioned me that the front tire should be closer to 205 instead. I talked with Connor by phone and was advised tht the 225 is a good choice for the S2000 front with this wheel setup. Any thoughts?

The better size would be the 205/50R17 and 245/40R17 rear. These sizes keep you in the same stagger as the OE tires on the car. The 225/45R17 will fit on the front but they will not improve the handling. The KD is available in the 205/50R17 at 185.00 and 245/40R17 at 247.00 each.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

The 225/45R17 isn't a bad choice but I would say the 205/50R17 would keep you closer to the OE tire stagger.
Just let me know if I can help.
Thank you

Jim
