I rub - need opinions
I'm getting a little frustrating but looking for words from wise men I put new hankook evos recently - went with 255 rear and 225/45 front.
Camber is around -2 if I'm not mistaken (will check on this later) and my right tire rubs when in full lock turning right. It unfolded inner fender lip even when I was crawling over the dip in my driveway. Made it like a razor and started cutting the tire.
Options:
1) go back to 215/45
2) more neg camber
3) roll fenders (I'd rather not)
4) your option?
//ohh and I'm 3/4 stiff up front (which is already too much for my taste)

Your wheels are OEM ap2's and this happened? Are you running a spacer or anything? This makes no sense to me because I know of cars that have run wider wheels and tires and don't have issues.
Can you post pics of your set up?

i'm surprised that you are rubbing so bad on the fender lip. i had AP2 wheels for a while but they were rubbing on the INSIDE of the fender well with 225/45 because of the high offset. i might be just a little lower than you but also running 3+ degrees of camber up front and rolled fenders. you might try adding some camber and consider a roll since your fender looks messed up already...

Thats crazy. I'm lower than you with the same size tires and I only rub if I hit large bumps, dips in the road..
However my fenders are rolled. Sometimes its the only solution. I'm surprised you haven't moved your rear bumper tab back as well because that usually rubs more than anything especially with 255's.

Jesus. That is insane! I agree maybe a 225/40/17 would fix it but damn. Did you bottom out while turning? Also check your alignment. Something has to be off because that just does not seem possible. Are the konis adjusted to soft?
