Default I need feedback on the following...

I'm looking into a set of wheels with the following sizes available:

front: 18-7.5, 48mm offset(225-40-18)
rear: 18-8.0, 40mm offset OR 18-8.5, 35mm offset(245 or 255-35-18)

Can't decide on the rear size and looking for feedback.

one more thing my MY03 is lowered on Spoon springs with stock pogo sticks.

Thanx in advance

j

None of those will work. Go here to find out why:

I am with xviper. Pick a different wheel.

xviper and jim are your recommendations because of the rear wheel or for both front and rear? Would your opinion be different if my tire size was 215 in frt and 245 in rear?

My concern is mostly regarding the rear set up, however, your front choice will also rub on heavy suspension compression. You need much higher offset, particularly since you are lowered. With a 245, you'll still be better off with a +60mm offset and with a 255, at least a +65mm offset. Being lowered, this might still be a bit of a problem.
Your biggest concern is offset. Please read that thread I linked and the threads that are linked in that one to understand what you are dealing with.

thank you for the info. I've read the link and think I might be better off going with 17-7 45mm offset and 17-8 45 or 48mm offset.

also with some conservative tires like 215-45-17 and 235-40-17. Seems like there are more tire size choices for 17' wheels as well
